Aerva is a pioneer in digital signage technology, enabling real-time interactivity between mobile applications and digital display networks.

Founded by MIT alumni in 2003, Aerva provides the simplest to use, most powerful and most cost-effective solution to create small or large interactive display networks.

The company's software technologies, AerChannel (for digital signage) and MoApp (for mobile applications), are based on a patented platform that is secure, stable and robust. These products and associated interactive applications have been sold in the US and internationally since 2003.  The company has managed networks for many customers in a number of industry verticals, such as schools/universities, sports bars, clubs, hotels/hospitality, health clubs, retail stores, bank branches and sports/entertainment venues.

Aerva's solutions can be provided as a complete digital-signage-in-a-box or as an embedded OEM product through qualified partners.

Sanjay Manandhar

Sanjay Manandhar, Interim CEO, CTO

Sanjay has 15+ years of product development experience, starting his career in software engineering/product development at Siemens, NYNEX and other high tech firms. He has also worked in Europe in finance and advanced product development as VP of Innovation at Rubus, built a team in late 1990’s working on Smart Search, 3D characters with natural language, wireless applications using WAP, SMS and mobile handsets. Sanjay has a BS in EECS from MIT and an MS from the MIT Media Lab, as well as an MBA from INSEAD in France.

David Crow

David Crow, Systems Architect, Engineering Manager

David is a veteran software engineer with a background in artificial intelligence, network design, and mobile technologies. Formerly, he worked at the MIT Media Lab, where he developed systems for context-aware multimedia and wireless location detection. David has a BS in BCS from MIT.

George Adaniya: George is a serial entrepreneur who has founded 12 companies, of which he sold three and took two companies public, including Andover Controls, where he was its co-founder. His career spans three diverse markets: medical devices, aerospace, and industrial controls. George's leadership and contributions range from technical (patents) to managerial (strategic and operational), to sales and marketing activities. George has Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (MIT) and an MBA (MIT).

Steve Goldman: Steve retired from Paramount Pictures Television in 2003 after 23 years. His legacy includes the rebirth of the Star Trek dynasty, the start of Paramount Advertiser Sales, the launch of the UPN television network and transformation of the Paramount Stations Group to the country's fifth largest. He had a leading role in some of syndication's most successful programs, including Entertainment Tonight, Hard Copy, Arsenio Hall, Maury Povich, Geraldo Rivera, Cheers, Family Ties, Frasier and the Star Trek Franchise. Formerly President of Domestic TV at Paramount Pictures Corp. Steve started his professional life at Ogilvy & Mather in New York in 1966 as a media buyer and planner. Steve graduated from University of Illinois with Bachelor's degree in marketing.

Richard Kosowsky: Rich brings over 20 years of successful management, technology and investment experience. He was an early employee at QUALCOMM and led several technology development efforts. He has invested and provided interim executive management to dozens of early stage technology companies including Four11.com (acquired by Yahoo), IntelliReach and Emptoris, Inc. Rich holds BS and MS degrees in Electrical Engineering from MIT, and an MBA with High Distinction (Baker Scholar) from Harvard Business School.

Peter Smyth: Peter has spent 25 years in the Out of Home (OOH) advertising business including roles as finance director and managing director in Ireland (More Group) and the UK (Clear Channel UK Ltd). Peter is non-executive chairman of Cityspace Ltd, the leading UK-based provider of urban digital networks and Screen Technology Group PLC, a manufacturer of high brightness, high resolution large format display screens, which is listed on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange. He is deputy chairman of Cardpoint PLC, an AIM listed deployer of ATMs (automatic teller machines) and also a director of Roundstone TV Ltd, a creator/deployer/broadcaster of interactive retail TV to a range of retail and leisure outlets and venues in the UK and Ireland.
